What is DLyte?
DLyte is a patented, groundbreaking innovation by GPAINNOVA, recognized as the world’s first dry electropolishing technology since 2016. This advanced metal finishing solution redefines how industry professionals achieve ultra-smooth, bright, and immaculate surfaces across a wide range of metals - including tungsten carbide, stainless steel, brass, copper, titanium and aluminium.
Unlike traditional polishing techniques that rely on abrasive methods or liquid electrolytes, DLyte employs a unique set of solid electrolyte particles capable of conducting electricity. These particles effectively remove oxides and other imperfections formed during the electropolishing process. This unique technique not only produces a mirrored, defect-free appearance, but also significantly enhances corrosion resistance.
How it Works?
What sets DLyte apart is its innovative use of electrically activated solid particles within a confined electrolyte environment. This system concentrates the metal treatment activity on the particles themselves, allowing for greater precision and consistent results throughout the process.
The fully automated process begins as a high-precision rectifier generates an electric flow. With the controlled movement between the metal parts and the electropolishing media, the solid particles come into direct contact with the metal surface. Acting as active ion-exchange agents, these particles selectively remove material only from the peaks of surface roughness, producing a perfectly smooth finish.
