In September, we had the privilege of visiting Collcap Packaging, a UK-based leader in cosmetic packaging for perfume and cosmetics suppliers worldwide.
Collcap is also a proud owner of the Objet30 Pro desktop 3D printer. This versatile system supports seven different materials, including VeroClear transparent and High Temperature materials.
Previously, Collcap’s design team had to rely on traditional tooling to produce prototypes — a time-consuming and costly process. Each design modification could take weeks and add significant expense before reaching the customer.
With the Objet30 Pro, Collcap can now turn around new packaging designs in just hours. Customers receive highly accurate, realistic prototypes the very same day, allowing for faster feedback and decision-making.
