Dimension 1200es Series 3D printers have the biggest build envelope of any printer in its class. Boasting the largest capacity, the 1200es 3D Printer series gives you the ability to print models of up to 10” x 10” x 12’ (254 x 254 x 305 mm). Running on Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) Technology, it prints in nine colours of real ABSplus thermoplastic. This professional 3D printer allows you print in high resolution and speed up your printing process with the option of a 0.254 mm (0.010 inch) or 0.33 mm (0.013 inch) layer thickness.

Dimension 3D printers use ABSplus thermoplastic to build your models, and its materials come in convenient cartridges that are easy to load. Inside the 3D printer, plastic filament travels through a tube to the print head, where it’s heated to a semi-liquid state and extruded in thin, accurate layers. Modeling bases provide a stable platform on which your prototype builds. Once the print job is completed, you can take the recyclable, flexible plastic base out and snap off the model.
Dimension 3D printers build intricate models with overhangs, and even nested, moving assemblies with the use of soluble support. The SCA-1200 is a support removal system that helps dissolve support away in a water-based solution, hands-free and unattended. Placing your prototype into the system, the SCA provides the right temperature and agitation to reveal your printed part or assembly.
If you prefer breakaway support, you can take advantage of FDM Technology. The Dimension 1200es is also available in a breakaway support technology (BST) version, offering the same layer thickness, large build envelope, and ABSplus material as the SST 1200es at a lower price.
