Dimension 3D printers use ABSplus thermoplastic to create your models. Its materials come in convenient cartridges that are easy to load. Inside the 3D printer, plastic filament travels through a tube to the print head, where it’s heated to a semi-liquid state and extruded in thin, accurate layers. Modeling bases provide a stable platform on which your prototype builds. Once done, you can take the recyclable, flexible plastic base out and snap off the model.
Dimension 3D printers build intricate models with overhangs, and even nested, moving assemblies with the use of soluble support. The SCA-1200 is a support removal system that helps dissolve support away in a water-based solution, hands-free and unattended. Placing your prototype into the system, the SCA provides the right temperature and agitation to reveal your printed part or assembly.
SCA-1200 Support Cleaning System removes soluble support material from your 3D printed models easily, giving you more dedicated time to focus on analysing your design rather than modeling. The advanced cleaning system dissolves the support material in a circulating heated detergent and its sizeable basket can contain modeling parts to proximity of 10″ x 10″ x12″ (254 x 254 x 305 mm). It is spacious enough for the entire team to use the SCA-1200 simultaneously be it cleaning one large 3D model piece or multiple small ones.
