The 1st International Conference on Progress In Additive Manufacturing held in NTU has seen Subject Matter Experts and Researchers from around the world coming together to share intruiguing insights and research findings on the emerging 3D Printing industry


Official launch of the NTU Additive Manufacturing Centre (NAMC)

During this 3-day event, we are proud to witness the official launch of the NTU Additive Manufacturing Centre (NAMC) by Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development. The new $30 million 3D printing centre aims to collaborate with industries to develop innovative, practical solutions and also bring together the best talents in the field.

The launch event for the new centre also marks the finale of the second International 3D printing competitions 2014 for jewellery and architecture. Organised by NAMC, there were a total of 86 entries submitted (71 jewellery and 15 architecture) from seven countries. We are delighted to see several corporate partners emerge as winners and also exceptionally proud to see the fantastic designs created by our printers.
